Al Amanah College Liverpool Welcomes Key Leaders from AIS and Independent Schools Australia

Al Amanah College was honoured to host three leaders in the independent education sector: Ms Margery Evans, the CEO of the Association of Independent Schools (AIS), Mr Douglas Melrose-Rae, Associate Chief Executive: Compliance, Policy and Member Engagement, and Mr Graham Catt, Chief Executive Officer of Independent Schools Australia. The visit was warmly led by Mr Alwan, Al Amanah College's Principal, whose steadfast leadership has been instrumental in guiding the school’s growth and fostering its culture of excellence.

Our guests enjoyed a comprehensive tour of the Liverpool campus, visiting classrooms and witnessing our Kindergarten students preparing for their End of Year Performance in the School Grand Hall. This provided a glimpse into the vibrant learning environment and strong sense of community that defines Al Amanah College.

Following the tour, the school’s executive team presented our End of Year video and shared our strategic vision for the future, including exciting plans for the expansion and development of the Bankstown campus.

A key part of the discussion focused on the transformational changes Al Amanah has experienced over the years. Our executive team, comprising members who have each served the school for more than 15 years, with some reaching 25 years, reflected on the evolution of our staff, teachers, students, and the broader school community. These decades of dedication have shaped a culture of stability, growth, and excellence.

One defining feature that sets Al Amanah apart is the strong connection our graduates maintain with the school. A significant percentage of alumni return to work within our schools or volunteer their time, giving back to the community that they proudly call their second family. This enduring bond speaks volumes about the values and relationships nurtured at Al Amanah College.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our special guests for their time, insights, and continued support of independent education. Their engagement reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences and fostering a community where students thrive academically and personally.
