Competition at Al Amanah College Australia
Week with a Math Cup for Stage 4 and Stage 5 students. The competition brought together some of the brightest students in year 7 and 8 and year 9 and 10 to participate voluntarily in a maths challenge. The event was not only a test of speed and accuracy but also an opportunity for students to engage in friendly competition and demonstrate their love and understanding for maths. In addition to the excitement of the competition, instant cash prizes were awarded to both participants and audience members, adding a layer of enthusiasm and involvement from all students. General questions in the audience received $5 and $10 prizes for correct answers while those who attempted the written challenge won prizes ranging from $10-$75. The winner received a $100 cash prize!
A special thank you goes out to the Math Committee, whose dedication and hard work made this a successful event, and for reinforcing the importance of numeracy among students. Overall, the Math Cup was a fantastic success, leaving students eager for future Numeracy Week events!
Congratulations to all the winners!

The 2024 Arabic Poetry Competition ….
On Friday 6 September 2024, Al Amanah College held its Arabic Poetry Competition for grades Three, Four, Five and Six.
The competition focused on speaking emotively to entertain an audience. The participants spoke poetically and impressed the judges with their abilities and their fluency. Selected students recited beautiful poems of our beloved Prophet Muhammad; may peace be upon him. We are very proud of our students; their recitations were heartfelt and filled with emotions.
We are extremely proud of our students, whose performances were deeply moving. The judges then had the challenging task of selecting the top performers, and the winners for each class were announced:
