Rupiah Slipped Again Last Week

The development of the rupiah still shows less encouraging news. Entering the last week of November 2022, the rupiah slipped again.
At the close of inter-bank transactions, Monday (21/11/2022) evening, the rupiah slipped 29 points. Its position also became weaker than before, namely IDR 15,713 per United States (US) dollar.
Meanwhile, the previous position of the rupiah was IDR 15,684 per US dollar.
Signals of negative movement in the rupiah have occurred since this morning. At that time, the rupiah eroded to Rp 15,690 per US dollar.
The slip in the rupiah also occurred at the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) Bank Indonesia (BI).
At the close of the JISDOR BI exchange rate transaction today, the rupiah dropped 15 points. This places the rupiah at Rp 15,707 per US dollar.
This means that the rupiah level based on the BI JISDOR exchange rate is weaker than before. Namely IDR 15,692 per US dollar.
